2021 marks our 20th year of bringing authentic latin music to Texas and the Houston area. Starting out in 2001 as a 10-piece combo, Salmerum has grown to a 12-piece orchestra complete with a full complement of horns and latin rhythm section. All music is 100% live with no computer sequences playing in the background. The musicians in this ensemble are the best at their craft and are recognized internationally as they have been asked to accompany some of the biggest names in salsa when they come to Texas. These world-class pros have played with such salsa artists as Celia Cruz, Juan Luis Guerra, Tito Nieves, Jerry Rivera, Tito Rojas, Maelo Ruiz, Grupo Niche, La India, Tommy Olivencia and Buena Vista Social Club to name a few.

We've survived career changes, life changes, and pandemics, and hope to keep bringing you the authentic tropical latin music hits you've been accustomed to for years. 2020 and now 2021 have been rough on live music in general, but we are looking forward to getting back to a more normal rhythm in the coming months.
