2021 marks our 20th year of bringing authentic Latin music to Texas and the Houston area. Starting out in 2001 as a 10-piece combo, Salmerum has evolved into a vibrant 12-piece Latin music orchestra, complete with a full complement of horns and a dynamic Latin rhythm section. All music performed is 100% live, ensuring the best experience for fans of Houston live music with no computer sequences in the background. The talented musicians in this ensemble are masters of their craft and are recognized internationally, having accompanied some of the biggest names in salsa when they come to Texas. These world-class pros have played with renowned salsa artists such as Celia Cruz, Juan Luis Guerra, Tito Nieves, Jerry Rivera, Tito Rojas, Maelo Ruiz, Grupo Niche, La India, Tommy Olivencia, and Buena Vista Social Club, making our Houston salsa nights unforgettable.
